Why play the Cats Protection Weekly Lottery?
You could win up to £1,000 every week, plus up to £10,000 in quarterly Super Draw Raffles. You have great odds of winning, and every time you play your payments will go towards protecting the safety, health and wellbeing of cats.
What is the best way to pay?
The most convenient way to take part is by setting up a Direct Debit. That way we can ensure you never miss a draw. It also gives you complete flexibility with your payments. You can set up your Direct Debit here.
How will I know if I’ve won?
We send all winners’ cheques out in the post within 14 days of the draw. You can find a list of the most recent winners by clicking here. For older draws, please call our Weekly Lottery Helpline on 01628 825 928.
You have 200 chances to win CASH each week, including our top weekly prize of £1,000. Additional weekly prizes are £200, £150, £100, £50 and 195 prizes of £5. You will also be automatically entered into our quarterly Super Draw Raffles with a jackpot prize of £10,000.
Each entry costs £1 per week. You can enter online, call us on 01628 825 928 or download our lottery form and post to: Freepost RTJY-JUCB-AATE, Cats Protection, PO Box 1127, MAIDENHEAD, SL6 3LN.
What happens once I’ve entered?
We will send you written confirmation within 21 days. The letter will contain your unique lottery number(s) and the date of the first draw you will be entered into.
What should I do if I want to make a complaint?
We are sorry to hear you may have a complaint about our Weekly Lottery. To help us deal with your concerns as soon as possible please contact our Weekly Lottery Helpline. If you are unhappy with the way a complaint is resolved please contact the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS). IBAS acts as an impartial adjudicator on disputes that arise between betting/gambling operators and their customers.
What should I do if I think I have a problem with gambling?
Cats Protection is committed to responsible gambling. We are registered with the Gambling Commission and make annual contributions to the Responsible Gambling Trust. If you are worried about your level of gambling please seek advice. You can find more information here
How do I add more lottery lines to my current subscription?
If you want more chances to win. Call our lottery helpline 01628 825 928 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with details of your current lottery subscription.
I’ve spoken to a fundraiser in the street, is this legitimate?
The fundraisers will have an ID badge that states that they are working on our behalf, if you are concerned please contact email@example.com with the location and date/time that you saw the fundraisers, we have activity nationwide on a daily basis, so it is highly likely to be legitimate fundraising and they are licensed to take card details to sign up supporters.
I live in Northern Ireland, can I play the Weekly Lottery?
Yes! You can take part in both our lottery and the raffles. Please follow the instructions under ‘Three easy ways to enter’ on the main page www.cats.org.uk/lottery.
I'm having problems with the online form Direct Debit Mandate?
Don’t worry, please fill out your account number, sort code, name and all the other required details on the page. When you click submit, the numbers you have entered will auto populate the address.
All lottery players have a unique lottery number for their entry into the weekly draw. These numbers are then entered into an electronic system which pulls out 200 unique lottery numbers at random, in descending order of prize funds. Much like a modern day tombola!
My circumstances have changed, how can I cancel?
